Come and join us for a cuppa and catch-up and be inspired by three outstanding local women.

Meet our speakers:

Samantha Tannous is a fibre and textile artist, journalist and editor of Jervis Bay Weekend. She is the organiser of the annual Arts Muster weekend of arts and crafts workshops in Huskisson as well as the quarterly artisans markets. She teaches workshops in a variety of fibre and textile techniques, including feltmaking, natural dyes and botanical printing, shibori and fabric manipulation. Sam is part of the Jervis Bay Arts Trail and is currently the editor of FELT Magazine Australia, published by ArtWear Publications.
Dr Pia Winberg is the Founder & CEO of Venus Shell Systems and Phycohealth. Pia’s research, expertise & entrepreneurship in seaweed biomass and extracts development is revolutionising both the beauty and sustainability sectors here in Australia and globally.
Diana Lorentz is the Managing Director of Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery. She has extensive experience in the arts and culture sector as well as museum and collection management, including at the Powerhouse Museum Sydney. Diana brings a multi-disciplinary aspect to the role of Museum Director. She is on the Board of the Australian Maritime Museums Council, and she is a Councillor on the Australian Register of Historic Vessels.
