Community Connections
The Community Connections group is a sub-committee of Vincentia Matters whose goals are to

Foster a greater sense of community and belonging within our local area

Bring support to those in our community who need it

Strengthen interpersonal connections and enhance community well-being

Use existing community resources such as people, spaces, and event calendars
Some key things we have achieved include our Community Connect Day held on 24 November 2024 and the opening of the Community Hub in February 2025
Community Hub
Our Community Hub, located on the lovely Burton St mall precinct at Vincentia Shopping Village is open! You can find us at Shop 14, next door to Captain Pizza. The Hub is a space for the community to drop in, hold meetings, sessions, talks and gatherings.

Jervis Bay Arts Trail at the Hub
Our Hub is an exhibition stop on the Jervis Bay Arts Trail, which is held on the last Saturday of the month. March was the first time for the Hub.
Seniors Week Morning Tea
An opportunity for seniors to meet others, enjoy morning tea and hear about ‘Navigating Life Transitions in Later Life’.
International Women's Day
Our IWD Morning Tea event was an opportunity to hear from three key women in our community and enjoy tea, coffee and cakes.
