B & B Community Led Strategic Plan

Vincentia Matters is a member of the Bay and Basin Community Led Strategic Plan Reference Group which represents the communities of-

• Huskisson / Woollamia

• Sanctuary Point/ Worrowing Heights

• Vincentia / Bayswood

• St Georges Basin / Basin View

• Hyams Beach

• Tomerong

• Erowal Bay / Old Erowal Bay / Wrights Beach / Bream Beach

• Jervis Bay Village / Wreck Bay Village

In 2021, the Reference Group published the Bay and Basin Community Led Strategic Plan based on the collective knowledge of the community and the direct input of all those who participated in two surveys.

The Plan sets out ten Strategic Themes and eight Key Strategic Directions. It provides a foundation for the future of the Bay & Basin.

The Bay & Basin Community-Led Strategic Plan was adopted by Shoalhaven City Council in September 2021.

In August 2024 Bay and Basin Plan Steering Group presented lead candidates in the local government elections with an opportunity to answer a few questions on key current issues in the Bay and Basin.
